Chronic inflammatory diseases of the uterus and appendages

These are a number of inflammatory diseases accompanied by pulling pains in the lower abdomen, enlargement and tenderness of the appendages, and often a violation of the menstrual cycle. As a rule, the disease develops against the background of stagnant phenomena in the pelvic organs, which reduces the resistance of tissues and promotes the penetration of infection. In such diseases, the use of leeches has a positive effect. In addition, the leech is extremely useful as a prophylactic agent for an increase and slight tenderness of the appendages, that is, at the initial stage of the formation of the disease, when the inflammation has not yet developed. Elimination of blood stasis, intra-tissue edema and improvement of the nutrition of the uterus and appendages in 3-4 procedures will remove all disorders and will be the best prevention of possible serious diseases.

During the procedures, the zones are sequentially alternated. Leeches are placed mainly on the painful points during the examination.

Number of leeches: on average, about 3-4 leeches per procedure.

Number and frequency of sessions: procedures are carried out every other day for an acute process and 2 times a week for a chronic process or after the pain is relieved. The course of treatment is 7-11 procedures.
