Bone fractures and chronic osteomyelitis
As a rule, the tissue is preserved after a fracture and removal of plaster; fractures are often complicated by sluggish, slow formation of bone callus. In all these cases and especially with open fractures, leeches can bring a great benefit. Their local application is also advisable for chronic osteomyelitis.
Leech application zones.
In these cases, leeches are used exclusively locally over the fracture area, on the joint, or in the area of bone damage.
Peculiarities of the procedures.
Procedures are carried out until the body’s ability to work is fully restored.
Number of leeches: 3-5 leeches per procedure.
Number and frequency of sessions: procedures are carried out 2-3 times a week. The course of treatment is 9-15 sessions.
Combination with other methods of naturopathy: hirudotherapy should be combined with therapeutic exercises, massage, phytotherapy, taking mumiyo for fractures, and with a complex of cleansing and stimulating procedures to increase immunity.
